Main Street and Marshall Way arts district
Old Town's galleries stay open late on Thursday nights with artist receptions and demonstrations. Themed Gold Palette ArtWalks add live music and street performers several times a season.

Arizona Fall League
Salt River Fields at Talking Stick and five other Valley ballparks
Six weeks of afternoon baseball featuring each MLB organization's top prospects, with cheap tickets, small crowds and the Fall Stars Game on November 8 at Salt River Fields.
Salt River Fields is a 14-minute drive from Hideaway.

Old Town Scottsdale Farmers Market
Local produce, bakeries, coffee and prepared food every Saturday morning. The market moved to the Civic Center in October 2026.

Taco Fest AZ (Arizona Taco Festival)
Salt River Fields at Talking Stick
Dozens of taco teams, tequila tastings, lucha libre wrestling and live music over one October weekend, 11 am to 6 pm both days.
A 14-minute drive; rideshare back is easy.

Scottsdale Fall Festival
Scottsdale Civic Center
A free, family-oriented afternoon on the Civic Center lawns with games, performances and seasonal food, followed a week later by the Dia de los Muertos fiesta on October 24.

Canal Convergence
Ten free nights of large-scale light art along the Arizona Canal, with live music, workshops and food vendors. Evenings run 6 to 10 pm on Fridays and Saturdays and 6 to 9 pm the rest of the week.

Scottsdale Civic Center
A weekend of Italian food, wine and music on the Civic Center grounds, part of the fall Civic Center Live series.

Scottsdazzle holiday season
Old Town Scottsdale
Old Town's month of holiday programming begins the Saturday after Thanksgiving with the tree lighting and continues with light displays, sing-alongs, carriage rides and shopping nights through the season.
The Civic Center festivities are an 18-minute walk from the front door.

Fiesta Bowl (College Football Playoff quarterfinal)
The Valley's biggest college football week, with a fan fest, parade and the playoff quarterfinal in Glendale.
State Farm Stadium is about 40 minutes by car; allow more on game day.

Celebration of Fine Art
Celebration of Fine Art tents, Hayden Rd and Mayo Blvd
Ten weeks of working artists under the big white tents in North Scottsdale, open daily 10 am to 6 pm. Watch painters, sculptors and jewelers work, then buy directly from them.
About a 22-minute drive north.

Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale Collector Car Auction
The flagship collector car auction expands to nine days in 2027, with roughly 2,000 vehicles crossing the block, ride-alongs, exhibitor pavilions and evening entertainment at WestWorld.
WestWorld is a 17-minute drive without traffic; plan for 25 to 35 minutes during the auction.

Parada del Sol Parade and Trail's End Festival
Scottsdale Road, Old Town Scottsdale
The nation's largest horse-drawn parade rolls down Scottsdale Road on the morning of February 6, followed by the Trail's End street festival in Old Town. Western Week programming runs the days before; those dates are still being announced.
The parade route on Scottsdale Road is a 20-minute walk.

WM Phoenix Open
TPC Scottsdale, Stadium Course
Tournament week at TPC Scottsdale: free-admission practice rounds on February 8 and 9, the pro-am on the 10th, and four tournament rounds February 11 through 14. The Birds Nest concert series runs Wednesday through Saturday nights, and the Concert in the Coliseum is Saturday, February 6.
TPC Scottsdale is 20 minutes away in normal traffic; use the official shuttles or rideshare on tournament days.

WestWorld of Scottsdale
More than 2,000 Arabian horses, shopping pavilions and daily competition over eleven days, one of the largest horse shows in the world.

Cactus League Spring Training
Scottsdale Stadium (Giants) and Salt River Fields (Diamondbacks and Rockies)
Fifteen MLB clubs play a month of afternoon games across ten Valley ballparks. The San Francisco Giants train at Scottsdale Stadium in Old Town; the Diamondbacks and Rockies share Salt River Fields. The published 2027 window is February 19 through March 23; MLB's collective bargaining agreement expires in December 2026, so confirm the schedule before booking non-refundable travel.
Scottsdale Stadium is a 22-minute walk or a 3-minute drive; Salt River Fields is 14 minutes by car.
