Simple rules, clearly stated

Hideaway is on a residential street with neighbors on both sides, in a city that regulates short-term rentals closely. These rules keep the home welcome in its neighborhood and keep your stay uncomplicated. They match the listings on every booking platform.

Who can book and who can stay

  • The booking guest must be at least 21 years old.
  • Maximum eight guests. The City of Scottsdale limits short-term rentals to six unrelated adults, not counting children.
  • Every booking guest completes identity verification through GoodNight Stay’s screening partner within 48 hours of booking.
  • Same-day bookings are not accepted after 10 am Arizona time.

During your stay

  • No parties, events or weddings. Scottsdale prohibits using short-term rentals as event venues.
  • Quiet hours are 10 pm to 7 am under the city noise ordinance.
  • No smoking or vaping of any kind indoors or on the patio.
  • Up to two pets under 35 pounds each, $100 per pet.
  • Exterior security cameras cover the outside of the property. There are no cameras indoors.
  • Pool hours and rules are set by the Casa Granada East HOA.
  • No illegal substances, firearms or fireworks on the property.
  • All amenities, including the pool, playground and grill, are used at guests’ own risk.
  • Starter kits are provided to begin your stay; additional supplies are not restocked mid-stay on short reservations.

Arrival and departure

Check-in is at 4:00 PM and check-out at 11:00 AM, Arizona time. Keyless entry. GoodNight Stay sends a unique door code for your dates before arrival, so there is no key handoff. Early check-in and late checkout can sometimes be arranged through GoodNight Stay for a fee, subject to the cleaning schedule.

Cancellation

For reservations made directly with GoodNight Stay, the published policy is a full refund for cancellations made 60 or more days before check-in; cancellations inside 60 days are non-refundable. Airbnb and Vrbo apply their own policies, shown before you confirm.

Damage and deposits

No cash deposit is collected. Every booking guest completes identity verification with GoodNight Stay’s screening partner within 48 hours of booking. Damage beyond normal wear is billed under the terms of the platform you booked on.

Licensing

Hideaway is licensed by the City of Scottsdale as short-term rental 2042239 and registered with the Arizona Department of Revenue under transaction privilege tax license 21633491. Scottsdale’s short-term rental rules, including the six-unrelated-adult occupancy limit, the noise ordinance and the prohibition on events, apply to every stay.

Rules and arrival, explained

Can we host a party, wedding or event at the home?

No. Parties, events and weddings are not allowed, and Scottsdale prohibits using short-term rentals as event venues. Hideaway is a great base for a wedding weekend, a bachelorette trip or a golf group, with the celebrating done in Old Town.

Is smoking allowed?

No. Smoking and vaping of any kind are prohibited inside the home and on the patio.

What are the quiet hours?

10 PM to 7 AM, in line with the City of Scottsdale noise ordinance. Hideaway is on a residential street with neighbors on both sides, which is exactly why it is so quiet when you come home from Old Town.

What are the check-in and check-out times?

Check-in is at 4:00 PM and check-out is at 11:00 AM, Arizona time (Arizona does not observe daylight saving time). Early check-in and late check-out can sometimes be arranged through GoodNight Stay for a fee, depending on the housekeeping schedule. Same-day bookings are not accepted after 10 AM.

How do I get in?

Keyless entry. GoodNight Stay emails a unique door code for your dates before arrival, so there is no key pickup and no waiting for anyone. The code stops working at check-out.

Where do I park?

Two assigned spaces under a covered carport directly behind the home, plus free street parking on Parkway Avenue. The carport is a favorite with families because you unload straight into the patio and your car stays shaded.

How far is Hideaway from Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport?

About 12 miles and 23 minutes by car in normal traffic to Terminal 4; allow 35 to 40 minutes at rush hour. Rideshare and taxi are the simplest options; a rental car is worth it if you plan on Salt River Fields, north Scottsdale golf or day trips. Scottsdale Airport, for private aviation, is about 20 minutes north.
