Why the total is lower for 30+ nights

Two reasons. First, GoodNight Stay prices longer stays on a monthly basis rather than stacking thirty nightly rates, and a single cleaning fee covers the arrival. Second, Arizona taxes short-term lodging differently from residential stays: under A.R.S. 42-5070, lodging for fewer than 30 consecutive days is classified as transient and is subject to state, county and city transient lodging taxes, while stays of 30 or more consecutive days fall outside that classification. Living here for a month

Groceries are a nine-minute walk (Sprouts on Miller Road), with Safeway, Trader Joe’s and AJ’s Fine Foods within seven minutes by car and a Whole Foods opening a block away. The Saturday farmers market at the Civic Center is 14 minutes on foot from October through May. Coffee is six minutes away at MERCI, and Old Town’s hundred-plus restaurants start a 14-minute walk from the front door. Camelback Mountain is a 12-minute drive for morning hikes, and the canal path at the Waterfront is a 20-minute walk for evening ones.
