The Scottsdale girls' trip formula is simple: pool in the afternoon, patio at golden hour, Old Town at night, and a kitchen big enough for the morning after. Hideaway does all four without a single Uber to the house.
The weekend, hour by hour
Friday: check in at 4 PM with your door code, drop bags upstairs, and walk to Sprouts nine minutes away for the fridge run, or have the grocery delivery meet you at the carport. Get ready at the dual vanity in the primary bath, then walk down Indian School to Stetson Drive and Saddlebag Trail, where the rooftops, cocktail bars and clubs of the Entertainment District cluster within a few blocks. Rideshare back: two minutes.
Saturday: coffee bar first, then the farmers market at the Civic Center (14 minutes on foot, October through May) or a slow breakfast on the patio. Afternoon at the community pool across the lawn, or a cabana day at one of the resort pools that sell day passes. Dinner in Old Town, then dancing, then the walk home under a quiet sky.
Sunday: the sleeper sofa gets folded away, the wine fridge gets emptied, and the group photo happens in front of the mural before an 11 AM checkout. Sky Harbor is 23 minutes.

A note on rules: Hideaway is a home, not a venue. No parties or events, quiet hours from 10 PM, and a maximum of six unrelated adults under city rules. Everything loud and wonderful about a Scottsdale weekend happens in Old Town, which is exactly why the house is where it is.

How many can we sleep, really?
Eight, comfortably: a king in the primary suite, queens in the other two bedrooms and a full-size sleeper sofa with a luxury comfort mattress in the living room. Two and a half bathrooms, with the primary bath’s dual vanity, keep getting-ready time civilized. The city limits short-term rentals to six unrelated adults, so a group of eight works when it includes family members.
Can we host a party or a bachelorette event at the house?
No. Hideaway is a home for staying, not an event venue. Parties, events and weddings are not allowed, quiet hours run 10 PM to 7 AM, and the City of Scottsdale prohibits using short-term rentals as venues. The good news is that the Entertainment District, with its rooftop bars and clubs, is a 14-minute walk away and open late.
Is it safe to walk back at night?
The route along Indian School Road and Miller Road is well lit with continuous sidewalks, and it is a residential area. Many guests walk it together; a rideshare from the Entertainment District takes about two minutes and is the easy call after midnight.
Can a stylist or glam team come to the house?
Hair and makeup appointments for your own group are fine; they are not an event. Please keep vendors to daytime hours and parking to the two carport spaces and the street.
